About Bollywood Celebrity Madhu Bala
Mumtaz Begum Jehan Dehlavi(madhubala) was a popular and regarded as one of the most talented Hindi movie actresses,she was born on 14 February 1933 in New Delhi,her first step in film industry was at the young age of nine.
Madhubala started acting with the film Basant which was realesed in 1942. Producer Kidar Sharma gave her first break in movie called Neel Kamal, Madhubala's captivating beauty made her to attain immense popularity.At the age of 12 Madhubala was taught to drive a car by Mohan Sinha.
In the early 1950s Madhubala appeared in many American magazines,the American filmmaker Frank Capra made a proposal to Madhu to start a career in hollywood but her father denied this offer.she worked with many known,respected and famous directors like Kamal Amrohi (Mahal),Mehboob Khan (Amar), Guru Dutt (Mr. & Mrs. '55) and K. Asif (Mughal-e-Azam) .
Madhubala had a long affair with 'tragedy king' actor Dilip Kumar.Jwar Bhata was the film for which they meet each other for the first time,but this relationship did not longed and this industry's famous couple seperated.Then she met Kishore kumar on the sets of Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi and Jhumroo she liked him and got married.
In the year 1950 on the set of movie 'Bahut Din Huwe'it was found that Madhu have a heart problem after she coughed up blood,but she continued working and gave many hits. 5th August 1960 became a celebrating day for her as on this day movie Mughal-e-Azam was released and got a overwhelming response.same year with a critical health position she went for a heart surgery but doctors denied any improvement in her health, but her passion made her stand again she signed an assignmentand also tried her fate in direction but she was not succesful.on 23 February 1969 it was herlast breath, she was buried at Santa Cruz. In the year 2008 a postage stamp featuring Madhubala was issued by the postage department.
