About Shahrukh Khan
Shahrukh Taj Mohammed Khan was born in New Delhi on 2nd November 1965, Shehnaz is his elder sister. His schooling was in 'St. Columba's School'and graduation in'HansrajCollege'. In year 1991 Shahrukh moved to Mumbai and decided to make his career in acting. The same year on 25th October he married a Hindu girl named 'Gauri Chibber'. "Dewaana" was his first bollywood movie opposite Divya Bharti,'Darr' and 'Baazigar' were another release in 1993 and both of the film got a tremendous response. "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge"(DDLJ) was a major hit for Shahrukh Khan in 1995 and got his second shahrukh. In 1997 movie 'Dil to Pagal Hai'was released and became year's second highest earner.
Shahrukh worked with Karan Johar in 1998 for the film "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" which was a blockbuster. Khan's other films were Dil Se,Baadshah,Mohabbatein,Josh,Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani,Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Ashoka. In 2002 Shahrukh got a title role for the movie "Devdas". Following year he did film 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' other hit movie like Main Hoon Na(comedy), Veer-Zaara,Swades. In year 2007 movie "Chak De India" and "Om Shanti Om" both got a huge response The same year his wax figure was installed at the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, London. Next year "Rab Ne Bana Di jodi" was released and was in the list of super hit film. He gave another film to audience in 2010 My Name Is khan.
Khan has also set up a production company Red Chilles Entertainment, which invested in the IPL cricket event is owner of team 'Kolkata Knight Riders'. He has appeared in various TV shows and serial like Circus, In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones, Kaun Banega Crorepati, and Friday Night with Jonathan Ross etc. He has won awards viz. Padma Shri,Film Fare best actor, Film Fare Villain and many others. In 2011 he will be seen in movies Ra.One and Don 2.
